He has worked alongside the staff and clients at the Every Voice Counts PRP Program, a community-based rehabilitation program that helped him become the best version of himself. That experience gave him something textbooks cannot offer. It gave him real stories, real pain, and real hope from people fighting to reclaim their lives every single day.
What drives Lavon is simple. He believes that too many people suffer in silence because they do not recognize the early signs of control disguised as love. He writes to change that.
His mother, Patricia Warner, taught him the meaning of unconditional support. His pastors and family members surrounded him with encouragement. But it was the survivors he met along the way who showed him that words can be weapons against silence.
